Relaxed atmosphere & feels inclusive. Good-tasting coffee, although they do not sell drip coffee (only espresso varieties of drinks). They sell sandwiches & baked goods, too. We gave one less star for service because it was very busy (long line & majority of the tables occupied) and for a while there was only one person working behind the bar. More staff came after about 10min. Additionally, while they post their menu items on a board behind the counter, they do not include their prices. It would have been good to know how much items were in advance.

I love this coffee shop! Lots of seating and cute, cozy vibes. They always have a great playlist going too. The chicken pesto sourdough sandwich is my favourite!

The third and last Ottawa Valley Coffee shop tried. This one I tried on my own. It was a beautiful and warm day yesterday so I tried a cold drink, a cold dirty chai. It was really good. I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed it. The hot dirty chai was great but I think iced dirty chai is my favorite drink now. The service was a pleasant surprise. The server was nice enough to bring my drink to me! I decided to try one of their snacks and had some kind of raisin tart bar. The base was very creamy, crumbly and buttery. It was great but I needed a utensil to eat it as it just crumbled when I tried to use my hands. Offering utensils would have been nice. There wasn't as much merchandise in this location which I liked more. Less distracting. Very open layout when you walk in which was also very nice. A nice experience overall and I would certainly recommend trying it...and in particular the iced dirty chai!

Thanks to the rain, we didn't miss this coffee shop.Very cozy, comfortable and special. We will visit it again. By the way, this is first time I saw the flower of the dracaena tree(dragon blood tree). It is said that its flower represents good luck, hope, and vitality.

A unique place. Great atmosphere and excellent service. And, yes, great coffee! I wish it were closer to where I live, so I could visit more often to relax over an Espresso or Cappuccino...

I happened to be walking past this lovely coffee shop and couldn't resist popping in. Without wanting anything in particular I followed the call to enter and I am SO glad I did. I was welcomed by the warmest staff (Patrick in particular) and an airy, comfortable atmosphere. I ended up ordering a local craft cider and a grilled cheese panini. Both delicious! Their menu offers something for everyone. I highly recommend visiting OVC any time you're in the Almonte area!

What a great little gem, I wouldn't say it was a hidden gem since it was busy. Love the decor, it has some real personality. As a family with dietary restrictions, it was great to see they had some treats that were safe to eat (gluten free and vegan). The brownie had just the right amount of chocolate fudge and sweetness. The nanaimo bar has the right layer ratios and sweetness. The turtles bar was just delicious. The iced cappucino, mocha, and hot chocolate (oat milk) were very creamy and not overly sweet, a nice contrast to some shops which are over the top with the sugar content. The chai latte was perfect with not too much foam. The service was great. Quick, attentive (always a concern when you have dietary restrictions), and polite. This is a must visit the next time we are in Almonte. *Dec 8 update Grabbed some more baked goodies. I love the change of treats to match the season.
